This study examined how effective Quality of Life Therapy, a type of bibliotherapy involving reading and discussion, is for people with depression. Out of 16 volunteers who participated, all but one were no longer classified as depressed after the therapy, and they experienced significant improvements in their quality of life and belief in their own abilities. This is important because it shows that tailored therapeutic approaches can lead to lasting positive changes in mental health.
