What information we collect

DrFind does not require registration or collect personal information from visitors. We do not use cookies for tracking. When you use our site, standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used solely for security and performance monitoring and are not shared with third parties.

Researcher profile data

Researcher profiles on DrFind are generated automatically from publicly available data in PubMed, a free database maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. PubMed data is in the public domain as a work of the United States government. The information displayed on profiles — including researcher names, affiliations, publication titles, and journal names — is already publicly accessible through PubMed and other academic databases.

AI-generated plain-English summaries are derived from published abstracts and do not contain private or unpublished information.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. For more information, see how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites.

Profile corrections and removal

If you are a researcher and would like to correct inaccuracies in your profile or request its removal, please see our contact page. We aim to respond to all requests within 7 business days.

Our site contains links to external websites such as PubMed and ORCID. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Children's privacy

DrFind is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
